Executive Summary: I find that after a couple of hours the phone light on my rtp300 goes out and I start to miss calls since they go straight to voice mail. I reboot the phone router and it starts working until a couple hours pass and the phone light goes out. This has been happening for the last 4 days. I've made no other changes to the network and Vonage worked great for the last 2 years. I have the rtp300 connected to a linksys wrt54g that is connected to the cable modem. Latest firmware is on the linksys. No idea about the rtp300 since I can't seem to access any configuration options at 192.168.1.15 as the Vonage website claims is the device's ip address. Internet access overall is excellent, just the rtp300 is misbehaving. Thanks for the help.

Where is your computer plugged in? If it's plugged into the WRT54G, that explains being unable to access the RTP300 admin page. Plug a computer directly into the LAN side of the RTP300.
I'd try two things. First, eliminate the WRT54G for awhile and see if you still have the problem. Second, if you have a friend with broadband service, especially one different from your own, try the RTP300 at his/her place. |

Try plugging the Wan port of your RTP300 directly into the Modem and then connect your 54gs into a Lan port on the RPT300. I strongly recommend that you always have the Vonage Router as the first device connected to the Cable Modem. I've had an RPT300 for two years on Comcast and it works great.
