The only place to get a Vonage branded F1000 is from Vonage. They are not available in retail stores or on line. There are some for sale on eBay, but you should buy Vonage devices on eBay with extreme caution - Vonage may or may not activate them after you get them (look for eBay in the forum for details). If you get a "guarantee" from the eBay seller, then it might be OK.

If you go the the eBay home page and put in wifi Voip, then two Vonage phones show up (plus a bunch of other stuff). I just checked and saw:

and

The white and orange phones shown are all Vonage branded since that is their team color.

TRy not to buy the F1000 it is not a very good phone:
HAs 2 problems, heats up and the volume on the earpiece is very low, even if you put it to the max which is on 5
i have it and not using it, only i use it when i leave on vacation, hoping to get connected to an open AP because now a days everybody's securing their network , half of the hotels i went to, they don't even know the WEP to use the phone, they just provide you with their equipment to use internet on it,

cheers

Vonage will not register you a used phone and you ahve to but it from them, because i had the same problem with them. Now i have the Dlink and the F1000 i just trasnfer the hardware, technically meaning on their website you can log and transfer from 1 line to another, by only having 1 line with them, they allow you to change hardwares once you buy both of them from Vonage

From waht I have seen in these forums, I believe that Vonage will in fact register a "used" device. The critical items, however, are that the device cannot be associated with another open account (the account may be closed and/or the device can be removed from an account) and the original account must be paid up. If someone dropped a contract before it was complete and did not pay the cancelation fee, then the "used" device won't work since it was never purchased from Vonage and they won't administer it.

My guess is that a lot of what is for sale on eBay came from people who did not pay final charges, so most won't work. However, if the seller guarantees that this is not the case - with a refund capability, or maybe by giving you the MAC and letting you register before you buy to verify that they really do own the device, then it could be OK.

My only point is that this is pretty much the only way to get a Vonage branded WiFi phone, unless you can convince someone at Vonage to sell you one without a new account.

My personal experience says, BUY NEW FROM FACTORY Wink

i told you everything happened to me and i have 2 hardwares from Vonage.
1 is the Dlink black box that they were giving for free and the second is the Wifi F1000, when i go out i go online to vonages site and change it to F1000 when i am home and i want to use my regular phones i switch back to the Dlink black box.

I hope this helps
