Below are my specs:

Voip test statistics -------------------- Jitter: you --> server: 3.4 ms Jitter: server --> you: 8.4 ms Packet loss: you --> server: 0.1 % Packet loss: server --> you: 0.0 % Packet discards: 0.0 % Packets out of order: 0.0 % Number of supported Voip lines: 16 Estimated MOS score: 3.9
Never have had any issues with Vonage, over 1year+ till today. I get a dialtone, but it sounds like 2 at the same time. Make a call, I hear the operator say I dialed the wrong number, at the same time, I hear my call go through to the person I'm trying. The person I call says my phone id is to someone else, and as we talk, I still hear, both of us, the operator asking me to hang up. Calling to me is the same thing. Tried to unplug the router for a minute, same issues. Anyone know if this is an issue? I'm in Dallas, internet is fine, as you see from the test, all is good to go, is this a Vonage issue? Yeesh, that's a weird one. Your test results are fine. I hate to say it, but this sounds like the sort of problem that will require help from customer service. I doubt that the problem is with your local equipment, and if it is, I doubt that any changes you could make would fix it. You already took the most important step- rebooting the Vonage box. If you haven't re-booted everything- modem, computer, other network devices- you should do that as well. |
