Post subject: Does the linksys support 220v? I'd like to use this in Asia
So I'm travelling to
Asia
for the next month (Singapore, China, etc.) and would like to bring my Linksys
Vonage
box with me... anyone know if this will work out there if I plug it in? Or will I just end up frying the device?
Thanks.

and obviously you can't just plug it in without at least an adapter. look on your power cord to see if it supports 220. if not, I would imagine radio shack would have what you need.

The Linksys is just 120 volts. I travel to
Philippines
frequently and want to get a voltage adapter that will do 220 volts. You could just buy a voltage converter for less than $10 but I'm worried if I forgot once then that would be the end of my telephone service while I'm overseas.
I would like to get a switchable 110/220 volt DC adapter that is center positive with 12 Volts DC output and at least 1 amp output, but I would need to figure out the tip size. I've seen them sold on the net for around $18. Would it be possible to buy the 220 volt adapter from Linksys? I don't see it on thier webpage.
