I had the same problem as described above. A downgrade to

Software Versions
Gateway 11.4.1-r061026-1.3.0 -r5
Wireless Firmware 3.0.0.12
Wireless APDK 6.0.2.64
Boot Loader 1.3.8.1602

seems to have fixed the problem.

I'm currently running firmware version:

Gateway 11.4.1-r070201-1.3.2 -r1
Wireless Firmware 3.0.0.12
Wireless APDK 6.0.2.64
Boot Loader 1.3.8.1602

and no longer have the loss of settings after a reboot or loss of power.

I'm having this same issue with the D-Link VWR. Its really unacceptable, how could a product be released with this kind of flaw in it? E-mails to Vonage have said the same thing, that it is a known issue that the vendor is working on but we have no timeframe on it. Perhaps I should email them again and ask them to open a case on it. Very annoying.

Does the VT2542 support FSK message waiting? I looked through the user manual, but found no mention of this.

I'm running the same firmware and it still DOES lose my settings after loss of power.

I am running the same version and it STILL LOSES settings and is a major frinkin pain.

This device is opening my network to random wireless public users every time the power flickers. I've been sent a replacement just today, it does the same thing. Tech Support barely knew the problem existed, and has no fix. This is absurd, there should be some sort of action we could take against Vonage and/or Motorola.

Rip off and waste of money, I have been on the phone with them, new firmware and it still looses the settings and opens the wireless to the world. Good example, I was traveling, just got home and the power must have fgone off because all the port forwarding is erased, default SSID and no security.. This is a real Vonage BLOW IT, do what we do and make your supplier replace them all!!!

I Think we've been waiting on this long enough. I think it's time for a class action suit.

I've got 5 badly broken Engllish replies from Vonage support about this issue. It's been ongonig for a year now. Obviously they aren't giong to do anything about it.
