Post subject: SoftPhone crashes on MacBook
X-Pro-Vonage works perfectly on my Dell PC and on an older iMac.
On my new MacBook - which I purchased so that I could take SoftPhone with me - X-Pro-Vonage will make a call, but when the call is finished, the program shuts down "unexpectedly." I also noticed that on the MacBook no calls are logged - neither placed or received calls.
I contacted
Vonage
to no avail. I got back what seemed like an automated response that indicated that X-Pro-Vonage does not work on a MacBook (/Intel Core 2 Duo)..
I am wondering if there is any other software that I can use for my SoftPhone account.
Does anyone know of a fix for this problem of X-Pro-Vonage "quitting unexpectedly?"
Thanks.

Post subject: Try X-Lite V3 for the MAC
I am using this softphone, but not on a mac. I find it better than the one
Vonage
wants you to use. It is free and is made to use with
Vonage
.
