After two months, four faxes of the LOA/Phone bill, 25 or so E-Mails and maybe 100 phone calls I get an E-Mail from Vonage today to refax another phone bill for the fifth time. This after they indicated all was fine and my LOA was sent to my carrier on October 26th. After calling customer service they indicated that the telephone bill did not match my billing address. I indicated that is correct my billing address for my charge card (that I charge Vonage to) is a P.O. Box and that my Vonage account shows both my real (shipping address) and my billing address. Vonage has charged my charge account successfully twice for two months of service. The service rep. said that I can't have a P.O. Box as a billing address. I must switch it to my street address. I indicated that the telephone bill shows the street address and it matches the shipping address on my Vonage account. Again he indicated that can't be and that I need to send a phone bill that matches my billing address and it can't be a P.O. Box and that I needed to change my Vonage account so that my billing address is the same as my shipping address (and cannot be a P.O. Box). I indicated that if I did that Vonage would not be able to bill me for service. He indicated that was the only way my number was going to be transferred. My only reply was "you win" make my virtual temporary number my permanent one and delete my request to transfer my existing number.
