Post subject: Vonage VTA - No Dial Tone
My VTA has suddenly stopped working. The power and internet lights are solid but the "Phone 1" light is blinking twice. There is no dial tone and no error messages when plugged into Line 1 but the normal message when plugged into Line 2.
Logging onto the VTA shows;
Connection Status
Description Type IP Address State Online Disconnect Reason
WAN dhcpc 192.168.1.2 No Server(BackupIP) 0hr 0min 0sec NA
Voice CID Phone Number Provisioning Status
01282505033 441282505033 Provisioned
2 Provisioned
GR909 Test Line 1 Line 2
FEMF Failed Unknown
HAZVOLT Passed Unknown
RENLD Unknown Unknown
There is also a new "System" button since I hard reset the device which I'm sure was not there before.
Has anybody experienced this before? Has my VTA lost it's config file or something?

Post subject: Experiencing the same... FEMF Failed
Honestly, my problem is EXACTLY like yours is... I have noticed that my device will not save any of the settings that I give it also. I've gone through 3 routers in the last week trying to fix this problem,
Vonage
keeps sending me this piece of crap D-Link device which has problems...
Vonage
knows about these issues and even admitted it to me on the phone, however they just don't care. I'm going to be canceling my
Vonage
service tomorrow morning because I'm just completely fed up with having nothing but non-stop problems with their service and extremely poor customer service/support...
