your modem is a docsis 2.0 so you need not worry about that being an issue. infact that is (IMO) the best moto modem they make...way better than the SB5120 that seems to dump out on people after like 6 months.....if you need assistance or can not find an answer here about homewiring so that all your phone jacks work with the Vonage service there are two things you can do
1. Call Vonage, many times they run promotions that allow for free professional installation (if it is available in your area..but they can tell you that and I think there is a spot on there site to check...just search for homewiring)
2. go to michigantelephone.com it is a very comprehensive site of Voip homewirng if you have any knowledge of phone wiring or even if you are a newbie
