I am in Chicago and my softphone is also not working.
I use another companies softphone on my ipaq ppc but I also tried using the Vonage one on my laptop and it also did not work. This is the first I have experienced this type of service problem but I have only been in Chicago for a week. |

My regular Vonage line has been down since at least 2:00pm PDT in the San Diego, CA area. |

However, whether coincidence or not, I just rebooted my adapter and I'm back online.
Vonage's customer service line currently says that there's a known issue and they're working on it. Vague, I know, but that's what they say. |

I am back up now.
When in doubt reboot! or... In reboot we trust! |

I haven't been able to call into my home phone for several hours. Outbound calls seem to work OK.
Does Vonage post and easy to find network/issues status anywhere, or must we deal with their Indian call center for even that info? |

Log into your Vonage account on the web, and look on the right-hand side for "Service Announcements". If they post anything, that's where it will be.
Not that it's kept fully up-to-date, but it IS easy to find. (grin) |
