Charged International rates for local calls

For 2 months I have been charged international rates when transferring call from my vonage number to my cell phone. Both are in area code 904. Problem is that if I had dialed 01904... I would have dialed a number in Turkey... and the number with my cell phone number apparently exists in Turkey. They say they have verified that. 1st put in a Customer Service request (online), got a response that I did make international calls.. if I disagree call Customer Service... Called... Have spent several HOURS on the phone with 4 levels of tech support.. they agree that I did not make the International calls. Then they say I need to go on line and put in a Service Request... with ticket number... Did that... They responded that their research shows there is such a number in Turkey... I told them to dial my cell phone number... in Florida and I would answer... They do.. and say it is being forwarded to higher level.. Got email back that they have found the problem.. it was a programming problem and it had been fixed.. I responded what about the $40 credit for charges... Oh now I need to input a credit request for the erronous charges...

This is ridiculas. Been a Vonage customer for 4 years... but calling getting prices with my cable company getting ready to drop this outfit. They have no customer service, and after you get someone on the phone they have no authority to do anything.

Don't know what to do other than cancel service....

my only advise is to dispute that one with their credit request department.Be firm but polite.Boy, that surely gives desired results. hope this suggestion helps.good luck
