I have to access the Vonage forum at a different location because when I try to access it at home, I am denied and get a message claiming I have a 'harvester'. I don't know what a 'harvester' is, but would sure like to know. The only thing I can think of is that when I downloaded 'Open Office' I allowed the Open Office site to monitor the Open Office Suite for bug info. I have no idea if that is what is showing up as a harvester. I e-mailed the webmaster that appeared with the 'Harvester' message when I tried to access the Vonage forum but have not received a reply.

You might have a trojan. Since the presence of a "harvester" on your computer is news to you, then if you really have one, someone else installed it, perhaps remotely. Google "Internet Harvester Trojan" and see if this situation applies to you.

Everything ok. Webmaster sent me this e-mail and I can now access forum from my own computer:

"I have removed the block on your ip. The problem is, that you have DigExt installed in your IE browser, and that will block you on our site and many others that use a sql db."

Whew! I thought I would have to reformat my disk and reinstall Windows and my music. I wasn't looking forward to that.

Very Happy
