From yesterday, I noticed that I could no longer dial out on my Vonage line. I hear a message saying that international calling is disabled.
I am not dialling international calls: I am in the UK, and all national 01, 02 numbers are blocked. Even Vonage support on 0800 is blocked!
I phoned Vonage support on my mobile and they said just go into the console and enable international dialling for now, and they'll phone back in a few days with an update. Hmmm.
Has this happened to anyone else? (I shall be really annoyed if my national calls are going to be charged at international rates!) |

I wonder if your Vonage account suddenly thinks you're a US subscriber somehow. Try dialling 306-478-2220 (precisely like that) and see if it rings busy. (It's a busy signal test number that always rings busy.) It shouldn't work if you call it like that, unless you have a primary number from Canada or the US. (You should have to dial 001-306-blah blah from the UK.) |

That doesn't work - it says invalid number. So at least my account hasn't changed countries! |

Well, someone from Vonage phoned back last night and said that the issue had been resolved. Tested it out by disabling international calling, and it does appear to be working correctly again now. |
