Hi guys,
I have a new, Vonage (white) F1000...even when I have the volume set all the way up, I'd consider the caller's volume medium-quiet, which means I have to press the phone hard up to my ear, which means my ear really heats up (as the phone gives off a good bit of heat).
Also, if I plug a headset in, I can barely hear it, even with the volume set all the way up.
Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks |

On the headset part of the question - are you using a 4 conductor headset (3 insulating rings) or a 3 conductor headset (? insulating rings). The phone works with the 4-conductor, often sold as "Nokia Style". With a 3 conductor - the volume would be very low - or not even there. |

Well actually, I was using a 3-conductor, until today, when I realized I needed a 4-conductor, but the volume problem is the same (well, it's a bit better)...very little volume.
I'll call Vonage and start a return. |

Does the low volume show up on all calls or only on some? I use the F3000 with a soft phone account and I have had some places that come in loud enough to need to turn the volume down to 2 while others do seem low even with the volume up to 5. |
