I just installed click-2-call which seems likea neat idea. However, I keep getting a message that the Vinage Server is Unavailable so I cannot log in. Anyone else having this problem or do I have a setup problem that is not documented? |

This is probably a problem on your side.
The server is not down all that often in my experience.
You may need to tell your software firewall to allow the Click-to-call application access to the internet. |

I have authorized everything on the firewall. I have disconnected the fire wall and still shows unavailable. If I use the html code it works but with limited capabilities. There must be a work around out there somewhere. I cannot be the only person in the Vonage universe that has had this problem. |

Nope. It is an operator error. I am using Zone Alarm and needed to write special permission to let it use other programs. When I thought I had Firewall shutdown it was the XP Firewall not zone alarm. Once special permission (options - under program control) was granted it fired right off.
Everyone can rest again. Perhaps Vonage should have this in there information database since I spent nearly 45 minutes on the phone yesterday without anyone knowing about this issue. |

I have the same problem... I can stop Zonealarm and it works, but I can't figure out which progam to change in ZONealarm?
There are no zonealarm or click-2-call programs listed? Can you tell me which program it is?
Thanks! |

Go to Zone Alarm Program Control then Programs click on the add button and add program to list; Product name Vonage Click-2-call File name C:\ProgramFiles\Vonage\vonageclick2call.exe Policy Automatically configured Last policy update 2/25/2005 14:24:58 Version 1.00.001 Created date 11/22/2004 14:27:48 File size 3085 KB
Hope this helps |

Hi UKBusiness,
You are a UK user? It is possible that Click-To-Call does not work in the UK. It does not work here in Canada. As far as I know, it only works for user ids and passwords that are eligible on the vonage.com site. If you logon to vonage.ca or vonage.co.uk, it will not work for you. |

I am a user in US. My business is in the UK, and I believe Vonage has just started there. Not certain of Canada. |
