Hi, I am a new vonage user. I have been given the device to work from home, and was experiencing problems. My brother seemingly got the v-phone working, and it worked great sunday and monday. He visited the forums here and the fix was seemingly to delete an "options" file on the v-phone.
As I said, there were little to no problems sunday, or yesterday, but now the device seems to be crashing my computer every 5-10 minutes.
I am running it through XP, and using a USB hub. I attempted speaking to customer service, but they were no help... the system requirements for it seem to be very basic, and my machine certainly meets them.
Could there be some software on my computer that is conflicting with this device? I already removed as many useless programs as possible in an attempt to find some solution, and nothing seems to work. Monday I was running multiple programs, itunes, aim, and several firefox windows, and the v-phone was working fine... today, I have tried running it with nothing in the background, and it continues to crash.
Any suggestions? |
