On a Vonage call that requires inputing numbers from the keypad (like account number, credit card, social, etc.), I have to enter the numbers slowly, holding each key down for 1 second and pausing 1 second between each entry. Anyone else experience this problem? Is there a work around? (LinkSys RT31P2 modem with Comcast.) |

Thats a DTMF issue(DTMF meaning the key tones emitted from your phone). Its possible you have an old phone and the tones its outputting are no longer within spec. Best thing to do would be to try another phone. If you are still getting the same issue call tech support because it may be an issue with their inter-carrier connections.(Had this issue before with Vonage, was resolved quickly). Either way its a resolvable issue. |

Thanks, bngdup. The problem is the same with all four of our phones and the newest is only 3 years old. They all worked with our POTS prior to switching to Vonage, so believe the problem is not at the phone. I will take your advice to contact customer support and will report the results. |
