Post subject: International Newbie Question, Please Help
Hi everyone, I'm currently living in Tijuana MX (5 miles south of San Diego CA) and wanted to know if I could have
Vonage
here in Mexico. I'm not talking about those incoming call only virtual number, I mean the full blown thing. My intenet connection averages 320kbps but ADSL (512 kbps ) is available to me if necessary. It would be no problem to go to San Diego and pick up a start up kit. Also, if it doesnt work out how much is the cancelation fee etc...anyways thanks so much for any help.

I can't tell you whether you can get
Vonage
in Mexico, but I can tell you I've had lots of problems making calls to Mexico. I've been patient with them, but I'm close to giving up. It worked fine for me the first month or so, but the last two have been poor. The problem is that calls don't get through at all to various parts of Mexico including Mexico City. This may not be related to your question, then again it may be. Perhaps someone else can be more encouraging or helpful.
