Can Vonage Jajah ?
To me it looks like a c2c service with some additional conveniences.
I have'n used Jajah but have used the c2c a few times but it only establishes calls between my vonage-number and another number.
If the restrictions were removed on the "From:" number in c2c then one could practically Jajah with Vonage .
It will eliminate the burden of carrying the Vonage-box/Phone around the globe and the search for a good broadband connection.
Of course this should be included in my unlimited plan |

I tried the jajah or **** and giggles and it worked no problems. Now to used Jajah you enter your phone number and your friends phone number (to be a free call your friend has to belong to Jajah).
Not sure if this will replace not bringing your adapter because you need a phone number for Jajah to work. Maybe I am missing something that you are asking. |

I could use the c2c to make free long-distance personal calls
from work or make free calls from hotel-phone using my vonage account without carrying the adapter and phone around. |

Using Click2Call, it calls your Vonage number to complete the call, so I don't know how you can make calls from work using it.
To make calls from a hotel room just use Vonage Talk. |

It calls the Vonage number because the c2c does not allow you to specify FROM-number. If there was freedom to do so then I don't see why two arbitrary phones can't be connected just as being done by jajah.
On your second point, I could have dialup access in hotel, that may be good to intiate the c2c call but may not be good enough for Vonage Talk. |

I understand how click2call works, but your wrote you could make calls from work using it, I am saying how can you make calls from work using it? Maybe I am misunderstanding you. |

don't we need to have the actual vonage device with us to complete click2call? i thought you can just dial through your online interface but you need to pick up your vonage phone first before being connected to the other party right? |

click2call calls your vonage number then the number you want to dial, so in reality you need to have your Vonage adapter with you. |

or you can buy the V-phone, and it counts against your minutes. V-Talk is the best option. You can make and receive calls while someone is using the phone back at home.
