Can i use another Voip carrers service from another country on same internet connection. I have a friend coming from australia with her own Voip phone from Engin and we need to be able to use both services at the same time. Vonage and Engin

i think its possible since it only uses internet connection..as long as your device has a routing capability,or shall i say has LAN/ethernet port.But make sure that it will not have the same default gateway.

cable/dsl modem->vonage device->your phone to phone port, and your friend's device to a ethernet/LAN port

I use two different Voip services (Primus TalkBroadband and Vonage) and they work fine.

They are plugged into my network which has all Internet traffic routed through its own router. I don't use the routing capabilities of either Voip box.

If you have enough bandwidth you should easily be able to use both simultaneously too.

I use Vonage and three other services (although I talk on just one at at time). Been doing it for years, with everything hooked up to a switch that is connected to router, I have never had problems.
