I have been having the unknown caller on id periodically for some time. Yet my dashboard always showed the id. I finally got off the couch and called vonage to downgrade my PAP2V2 from firmware 1.00.22 to firmware 1.00.13. Caller id has been working fine ever since!
Tech support was helpful and quick to help with this "known issue" with 1.00.22 on the PAP2V2. |

i dealt with tech support via email, they were no help. But the d-link adapter works great. It wasn't worth my time to try and fight with them to fix it. |

I too, have had intermittent CID displays ever since changing my Vonage adapter about a year ago. Dashboard always was good, but at least half the time CID did not display on phones. I knew phones were ok since CID was fine with earlier Vonage adapter.
So I called customer service and first they tried to change the waveform setting. That did not work.
Next I asked them to downgrade my 1.22.22 firmware and now that I have 1.00.16, CID has been solid for the last month. |
