Ok. I have a VT1005. They say that it does not have that ring feature.... Any other suggestions? |

An update from me. I've been using the new D-Link box that they gave me and have not had the "Incomplete Data" issue since which confirms my suspicion that it has something to do with the Linksys PAP2v2's inability to download new firmware or possibly the other solution mentioned... which I highly recommend if they work over the option Vonage gave me since I will more than likely have a loosing argument with them over the shipping charge... which they later informed me in an email after I sent it back that I have to pay. Good Luck! |

I'm having the same issue with the Caller ID displaying "Incomplete Data" on about 50% of my received calls. I have a Linksys PAP2 ver.2 with firmware 1.00.22. Has anyone had success with a fix on this?? |

I also have this problem, PAP2v2 firmware 1.00.22. Email tech support "makes changes" to my account that sometimes seems to fix it for a day or two, or an hour in today's case. Support said they would email the "equipment people" to see if this is a known issue, but they haven't gotten back to me.
I have been a customer for over 4 years and will have to find another provider if this isn't resolved soon. For me, caller ID is a basic part of service that I can't do without.
I'm most frustrated at Vonage's refusal to acknowledge there is an issue. If they never admit it, I don't see how it will ever get fixed. |

Anyone else still having trouble with this? I am still getting "Incomplete Data" on about 30% of my calls. Terribly annoying. |

Yes, I'm still having trouble with this; I'm getting "INCOMPLETE DATA" on my phone's Caller ID display for about 50% of incoming calls. Oddly enough, if I log into my Vonage Dashboard on the Vonage website, the caller's phone number is always properly displayed in the "Received Calls" and/or "Voicemail" list, despite having generated the "INCOMPLETE DATA" message on my phone's Caller ID display ... so Vonage's system is able to recognize the number, but something's getting messed up between Vonage's output and my Caller ID.
(I'm using the Linksys PAP2 Ver. 2, Firmware Version: 1.00.22) |

I am getting incomplete data as well, it has been this way for at least 3 months. I am on a pap2 as well, not sure of the version right now, but it is about 4-5 months old. |

I've used vonage for over a year now, never having a problem with
caller ID. But about 3 weeks ago, I started getting "incomplete data"
on about 1/3 of incoming calls. Anyone else seeing such a problem?
Nothing has changed with hardware. The incomplete data appears
on all my phones, so it is not a problem with one phone presumably.
Vonage support (by email...my time is too precious to try actually
phoning vonage customer service) has suggested a few things, none
of which has helped. Not a big problem, but it is very annoying. |
You should switch to UniaTelecom for better service and lower prices.

I have been having this same problem since around August 2007. I give up. I also have the Linksys pap2. I bought a d-link vta-vr and will see how that goes. I am currently about 50/50 on incomplete data with the pap2. |
