Have been having issues with the v-phone, first on a dell inspiron 640 and windows xp and now with a dell inspiron 1500 (xp also.)
Calls will ring audibly, (but the v-phone does not register any sound from the mic), and when calls connect there is no sound in or out. It originally worked for a month or so on the 640, and was working for about 4 months on the 1500. Both laptops have the same problem, and I've tried all of the suggestions I can find online - firewall on/off, clearing options.ini. I'm now at the point where if this doesn't work soon I'm going to cancel my service - which will be a whole other problem because the v-phone is my ONLY PHONE.
Anything anyone can think of would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

change the settings on the v-phone to Ringer , Microphone and sPeaker to built-in System speakers of your PC so that we can isolate the issue that the ear phone have the issue or the device have the issue. Do not try with other ear phones as it does not suit or will have compatibility issues.while change the settings(settings window open) you may not receive the calls , |

Hi katy_p,
First check your instruments connected with the line it's working or not.If yes it's working then check your whole process and restart your system.

at times the bandwidth can be a factor the upload particularly....u might want to..check it using a bandwidth teater site before making your calls.. (if theres a setting on the v-phone that will disable the QOS. |
