5.01.04 bad...1.01.07 good?

Just got off the phone with tech support. I've been having problems for the past few days, phone line dies & no internet access with my router. I had to cold boot it to correct the problem but after an hour or two it would die again.

I noticed that my firmware had changed from 1.00.62 to 5.01.04. Tech support said they have been havng a lot of problems with this. They just pushed another version to me (1.01.07). We'll see if that fixes it.

I'll try to post an update later.

Can you post the direct link to download this v5.01.04 firmware? I sure would like to manually flash my WRTP54G to find out if this firmware will cause problems on my device.

I don't have a link. This firmware version was automatically flashed by Vonage.

BTW - I'm using the Linksys RTP300 router

Thanks. I guess it is time to manually download/decrypt the XML Provision file for my WRTP54G from Vonage to find out its fullname of the firmware. Wink

You can download the file to your pc but you cannot flash this to the device if you do not have the administration username and password
