Not all toll free numbers work in Canada. I try to find a direct number for the company and if that fails I call Vonage and they usually find a regular number for me.

Wasn't sure how this happened. . . I called what I thought was a regular number in England. . . to an airline. . and guess what? It wasn't a free call. . . now how was a person to know this before hand?

yeah I've only just found this out, only signed up a few weeks ago.

If I have to call the regular, non 1-800 number, then that will use my minutes up... meanwhile if I call the 1-800 it would not use my minutes. How is that fair? Plus the time wasted trying to actually find a non-1-800 number to use to get through to who you want to call. Utterly ridiculous and unacceptable.
