Unable to make international calls

It is very frustrating to make calls to india. Most often I get a busy tone. Periodically I get a "cannot make the call - do not have enough balance" message. Even if I do get connected, the call quality is terrible and it gets disconnected !!!

Is this specific to my account / phone? If not, does anybody know when / if this might be solved?

I have sent 3 emails (over the last 10 days) to 'service@vonage.com' and no response. After several 30+ minutes of 'on hold', I have given up on calls to Vonage's customer service phone number.

It's not your account. Mine is in good standing and I have the same problem even to Costa Rica.
I am feed up with this problem because everytime I try calling there, it's not until try #7 that the call gets through. Vonage support is bad; I was working with them, doing some ping tests and finding out if it was my line that was dropping packets and one day, they stop calling me!

the problem is still here and no calls to Costa Rica. I've had luck with their email support and today I told them that if this issue is not resolved this week I will cancel my account (and without paying the cancelation fee)

Calls within the continental US are fine but if they advertise international calling they should make sure the customers get good quality.

I've had the same problems since day one, now over 6mos.
