I have two Vonage lines. One is my primary voice line and the other is my $10 dedicated FAX line. With V-FAX, only my primary line shows up and not my dedicated line. How does this get fixed? When people get my FAX, they see the # that the FAX came from as my primary #. |

If you use V-Fax no number shows up on the fax, I tried it already and i read the fax.
If you have a dedicated fax line, then that should be used and not V-Fax. |

I would guess that V-Fax is tied to your primary account and that is why you see your primary account number. I saw the same thing as roscopco on my test faxes, nothing appeared for a number. Maybe you can make a cover sheet showing your dedicated fax line number to put in front of your faxed documents. I don't know how easy that would be for you. I understand V-Fax saves you now because it doesn't draw down your minutes. I wouldn't be surprised if V-Fax ends up with some type of charge after they take it out of Beta (I don't know the actual answer. I am just guessing.) If they leave it free then they have a big advantage feature once they get all the bugs out. |
