I have owned 20,000 shares of Vonage Common stock for some rime now, and kept it through the thick and the thin because I use and love the service, and do not want to see the big guys kill them. In the past I bought and sold stocks to make money. I own these in my retirement accounts, and this is more than half my savings. I have worked very hard for this money. I also kept them of course to make money, because I believe in the company. I do not personally know anyone who works for Vonage. I know that their meeting is later this month. My only question is that I wonder if I spent my money to fly down there and back, if they would pick me up at the airport and drive me back. |

It's not more than about the money. Don't throw your money away on speculation, unless you can afford to loose it. |

Speculating can make you a lot of money, if you don't mind the risk. |

If you bought your original shares at the IPO price, it means you still need VG to go to $7.10 just to break even on your investment.
So let me get this straight...
You just spent another $157,500 to try to recoup your original losses (you had lost roughly $280,000 of your original $340,000 investment), and you still need the stock to rise over 130% from its current price to break even?
Please, hire me as your financial advisor. I'll recommend 100 stocks that are a better investment than VG and I'll only charge you 10% |

You're taking a risk you cannot afford to take. That's really really stupid.
For your own sake, I hope you gain some sense before you need to get to your retirement fund.
The liklihood is it will continue to drop, and the incumbents haven't even bothered swatting the small pure-voice operators yet. As soon as Vonage is above the radar, there'll be a fight. And the smart money goes on the incumbent.
There are much better investments around on the stock market at the moment in my opinion. |

This is not only crazy, it is also very dumb. If you like their service, keep using them, but why do you need to own so many shares? |
