Hey Thanks buddy,
Did you get it to work? I keep getting an error when setting up, that says invalid url. Its seems in fact it should work.

I have tried V-Fax several times and every time it is a failure.

Clearly, this is more in ALPHA stage than a BETA test.

The V-Fax works for me every time, I was having trouble one time sending a fax, but that was because a company was trying to fax my number in error, so there fax number was always busy.

Both V-fax and V-me work great. No problems.

Vfax worked for several weeks and was great. Now it seems to have stopped working. I have tried a few faxes and each time it says "unable to initiate fax (2)"

Anyone else with this error?

Yes. I get this error every time I try to use V-Fax.

I got it last night at around 9:00pm most recently.

Frustrating. Maybe it only works for "unlimited" plan subscribers.

My experience with Vfax is the opposite of what most others seem to be having.

I get back a message along the lines of "failure, received unknown message" yet the fax goes thru just fine.

What kind of file are you folks submitting the v-fax ?

I tried submitting 3 PDF files to V-Fax. All returned the error:

File cannot be transcoded

I tried a 3 page Word file. Same error.

I've tried PDF and Word, all fail.

Tried a PDF of 4 pages (~500kb). Failed with the "Failure to transcode" error message.
