I currently use Telasip as our Voip provider and a spare PC running Trixbox (asterisk pbx). Completely overkill for 99.9% here I know. But with it I have complete control of any call in or out, and the ability to have up to three simultaneous calls- with five children it really helps.
Your creativity is the only limit with this setup and i love it. |

Yup, soon you'll be able to use wild cards. i.e. 800* to block all calls from 800#, etc. |

That's great. I'm about to change both my my parents service and my own because Vonage cannot get a selective call block feature together. When I asked if it was going to be coming out soon it seemed to have fell on deaf ears. That obviously leads me to believe that they're not going to be releasing it anytime soon, or at all.
My parents, the ones with the issue, said that anonymous call blocking isn't working because most of the auto-dialers that are calling them don't have their numbers blocked.
If Vonage had this feature I could block those numbers for them. Then they wouldn't have to keep shutting off the ringer, and I could actually get a hold of them for a change. |
