Wow. And they have made some dramatic updates to the website too. I guess it is "out of testing." Hopefully they have it where they want it.

About time they have the ACB feature added. I have a DND feature on my house phone, all I have to do is press the button and it turns off the phones ringer

Vonage
, you are an absolute joke.
I guess you forgot that they are allowing forum users to try out the new feature before it is formally rolled out. I suspect there will be some hiccups and they are allowing us to help them with
constructive
feedback. There are so many variations on "Caller ID" and so many people's opinions on what should or should not be blocked that I now understand why
Vonage
hesitated until now.
And I would absolutely agree with you if this was a NEW technology. The fact is it's been out for a long time in both the
Voip
and POTS world. They should have had this perfected and up and running years ago. They will get no sympathy from me there. And in all honesty, if the Verizon lawsuit hadn't come to fruition I believe we wouldn't even have ACR or DND right now.
Formally rolled out? Have you checked their website? They are, and have been, advertising it to the general public since we first heard about it here. I would consider it to be in full production status now.
Most of my frustration deals with the fact that we still don't have a way of selectively blocking calls, AND the fact that the caller ID service is inconsistent in showing the names associated with numbers. All this coupled with a "half-assed" ACR bugs me.

This was released here to forum users about a week before it was on the website, the person who posted maybe hadn't realized that it was available to everyone.

I don't see either feature yet on vonage.com, either in the general info section for prospective customers or in my features menu.
V-Fax and V-ME are listed in the features section of the general page, however.

In your account, click "Help", then choose "Features" on the left in Help, and you'll see them listed. I still get to my V-Me page through Help, I haven't bothered to bookmark it yet.

Now that's what I get for replying to a long thread without reviewing it first.
I had forgotten that this was a simple "keypress" feature (one turned on and off from the phone keypad, and not from the web site.
My bad. LOL.

We've got Anonymous Call Blocking set on a couple of our
Vonage
lines, but we're still getting calls with an ID of "Anonymous" or "Unknown".
What's the deal? Is it the "Unknown"?
