Sorry, meant to say permanent caller id block that is (forgot about the per-call block). |

Hmm, what an annoying little wrinkle. As I'm unaware if tech support is officially supporting it yet (or even KNOWS about it), you might not be able to call them and ask about it. (But it's worth a try.)
Try this number to reach Vonage: 1-888-510-1820, then navigate through the voice prompts to reach customer service or tech support. (I've had great luck reaching AMERICAN support via this number and not an overseas call center.) |

Are you sure you don't have Do Not Disturb enabled? If you have both DND and ACR enabled along with voicemail, it will go to voicemail. Also, you probably already know this but make sure you're line is registered because if it isn't, you will go to voicemail as well if you don't have network availability enabled. |

I am able to get it to partially work. ACB - enable it and try to call from my cell phone (entering *67 first) call goes through with private name/number. Enabled DND - works going right to voice mail (enabled) or message stating not accepting calls (disabled). SO it looks like I am 50/50 on the new features. |

I foresee some fine tuning here. But, I do know they are making progress towards fulfilling one of the most requested features. Maybe they can actually add some features while they are fine tuning that will be better than others. I am glad they are letting us "fish out" the problems as a sort of beta. |

How does "PRIVATE NAME" actually come in? Are there spaces afterwards like "PRIVATE NAME "? Who is your cell phone provider? Perhaps someone here can reproduce this and see if it may effect others as well. |

Once I get home tonight I will check the "wording" for private number. My cell company is cingular. I will also have someone try it that their number is always blocked to see what happens. Once I have more information I'll place another post. |
