Just wondering if anyone has tried the new standalone Qos device from Dlink? If so, how does it perform? Looks to me like it functions essentially the same as the BB1. I am kind of partial to Dlink because i have used their equipment with minimal problems for the last 6 years. I have a DI624 router and the VTA now but I would like to add a Qos device to my setup. If anyone has some feedback, let me know. Thanks |

(paranthetical note -- I hope this post works; last time I tried to send it, the site say I was trying to do some kind of scripting attack!)
I have a D-Link DI-LB(something) router in one of our houses, and use the DI-102 with it. I believe the DI-102 is the same as the Hawking unit. In any case, it works as advertised, and I recommend it. We've testing things like uploading large files via FTP while on the phone, doing Internet speed tests with both uploading and downloading, etc., all without breaking up the calls. |
