yes you can have your U.S. number transferred to your U.K. account and that number will be a virtual number forwarded to your U.K. number |

Why? Can't you simply take your U.S. adapter with you to keep using your U.S. number in the U.K. and, if necessary, add a U.K. virtual number? Or even better, use the V-access numbers in the U.K. |

That my friend is a better idea than going thru the hassle of signing up a new acct in UK. You could possibly do that.

You could do that, but why? It's cheaper to just get the US VN in the UK, I think it's $4.99 USD
Keep in mind though that anytime this customer dials outbound with the US number, the US number will appear on Caller ID.
Oh, and if you do take it to UK - keep in mind the difference in power supplies. |

Yes, check your power supply. If it works with 100-240v/50-60hz you only need an outlet adapter. If not, a proper power supply is only a $10-15 investment. I got one for my Motorola VT1005, and it works great! |

I would just get a virtual number, since if you have the unlimited premium residential plan, you can call to land lines in the UK for free... so... |

I have the Motorola VT1005 & it has 110-240V power supply & it works very well in Israel without an adapter |

I also have the Motorola VT1005, but it only came with a 110v power supply here in the U.S. so I had to get the 110-240v version. The only adapters I needed were to fit the various A/C outlets during my travels. |
