Forum pages "flickering"

Not sure how to describe what I'm seeing...

When I open a forum thread, it loads two or three times in succession, clearing to the blank gradient background in between. If I watch the browser address bar the URL doesn't change in between.

IE6 on Wndows XP Pro, if that matters.

The first time I tried to post this here a couple of minutes ago it flickered a couple of times but never loaded the message text window - just the subject box and the instuctions.

I don't know enough about PHP to be able to guess at the cause, but I'd guess there's something fooe in the DB or DB software at the moment.

I sort of see a slight flicker, but it's too fast for me to really see it.

Running IE7 on WinXP SP2.

Right around the time you both posted (I really need and enjoy the feedback) I was rebooting the Apache (web servers) because the log files needed resetting... I am *guessing* (hoping) this might have been the issue.

Just for follow up, I haven't seen this issue again since then. Seems it truly may have been Apache.
