OK, I've signed up with Vonage....took some doing but things seem to be working OK from a sound quality perspective. However, when I phone folks, about 60% of the time, my number does not appear; some BC based number (604-550-7000) appears. I've tried phoning my cell and confirmed that sometimes it comes in correct...other times I get the 604 #.
After phoning Vonage several times and speaking with their Tier 3 support; I've gotten no resolution or explanation. I asked for a superviser to phone me twice...but yet no call.
My problem is that we are using Vonage for our business line and our customers tell us that they don't answer the phone when they see the 604 # because they think it is a tele-marketer. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a resolution? I'd appreciate some feedback as I am very frustrated.
Thanks in advance! |

OK, has anything been done about it? If I had known this prior to signing up, I never would have. |

Something new the last few days: Incoming CID is showing +44-NPANXXXXXX. This country code is the UK and the number after is correct. It doesn't really bother me as I still know who is calling but it is a little strange. |

I followed up on my ticket. It is still open....supposively forwarded up to Tier 3 support. I don't hold much hope of this being fixed. Now I have to determine if it is enough for me to switch back to my old provider. |

We are also having this issue. Please keep us updated with your progress and any possible solution they tell you (or you if you find out something on your own). It's very annoying! |
