OK, heres the deal. I have IRC and I want to be able to do DCC Transfers.
DCC Ports: 1024 1025 57
Ok, So I went to http://192.168.102.1/ (I have M. VT1000) Went to Advanced
IP--------------------PORT TRANSPORT 192.168.102.0.......1024......BOTH 192.168.102.0.......1025......BOTH 192.168.102.0........57.........BOTH
Then restarted it
I sent someone a file, didn't work PC > Voip > MODEM > WORLD
What am I doing wrong?
And also, I heard it's best to get a router, I have a linksys router but I always had troubles with it.
Help? Suggestions? |

Well, if you have a Linksys BEFSR41 I can understand your frustration. I upgraded to the 81 because I needed more ports and it has been much more reliable.
Unfortunately, I don't see anything wrong with what you did. It looks fine to me. But since I use a router, I am no expert on the VT1005 setup pages.
Hopefully someone else will chime in. |
