I get the voice message that my Vonage router cannot be provisioned today and when I call the execuive response team to find out why, I get a recording that these offices are closed today.

Have they locked their doors for good?

I just had a procedure done on my heart Monday and cannot be without phone service.

Am I SOL?

Rather than calling executive response, have you tried the normal support number?

They may have shut down the executive response line due to lots of support calls being made on it. Wink

My phone is being forwarded to my cell phone, which I have it set up that way in the network is down. But there is not service annoucements. I also have it set to voicemail instantly and that isn't happening either.
I tried calling my home and it gets bumped to my cell, which call forwarding is off and when I try to answer the call, it won't let me and the phone just keep ringing......

You got a "the office is closed" message at 1-866-243-4357?

I'm getting a warning about high call volumes, but it's letting me into queue.

My Vonage service is out today - I'm on the west coast. Last week it was out for 6 hours on Friday nite. What is happening to the service going down so often now.

My service has been out most of the morning in the San Diego area as well. It's been suffering intermittent outages for at least a week now, which is incredibly frustrating.

There's a service message on the Vonage dashboard, but it's the standard generic one:

Quote:
At this time some customers may be experiencing difficulty receiving a dial tone or placing outbound calls. Our engineers are aware of this issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Actually, the entire contents of the Service Announcements box are somewhat ironic:

Quote:

Service Announcements

Vonage continues providing you with quality, reliable phone service and world class customer service. For the latest information on the Verizon litigation please check out http://pr.vonage.com/press.cfm

At this time some customers may be experiencing difficulty receiving a dial tone or placing outbound calls. Our engineers are aware of this issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

In a nutshell: Vonage continues providing you with quality, reliable phone service... except for those customers to whom we are not. Thanks and have a great day...

Thankfully for me, my line is still up and I have been completely unaffected by any Vonage outages well over a year. (scurries around looking for some wood to knock on)...
