vonage has been the leading voip provider for a long time now...thats one of the reasons why verizon wants to see the company go down.. a lot of voip providers have emerged lately but no company can take away the confidence that customers have with vonage.and thats the obvious reason why sprint would want vonage.in the end its all about business and money.
