Hi, I am looking for some help, I currently have two Lines with Vonage, but some times the two lines are busy, what I want to accomplish is, that without getting another number, getting another line so if the other two are busy then the phone calls still get through, I don't know if I require a special hardware to accomplish this, if anyone can give me and idea of how can I enable this feature I will be very please, thank you

Network availability would be for down time or when internet is down. My suggestion would be enabling your Call Forwarding feature. If both your lines are busy forward it to your mobile or a 3rd number or better yet to your voicemail.

That sound interesting but the problem would be that everytime I have to change it forward and back, the users will camplain, I want something transparent like when you call to call center, you call to 1 number that has multiple lines so other phone calls can come in while other are busy...

call hunt would be the solution then. its a feature that hunts another line if the first call didnt went through.

If Vonage charges you, it will only be a minimal fee especially if it's an upgrade but then again, they might just charge you $0 especially if you have been with them for more than a year. Smile

Before adding more Vonage lines, be sure you test your Internet connection to make sure it can handle it.

Also, the Vonage 4-port router is 4 ETHERNET ports. I have never heard of a Vonage device that can handle more than two phone lines, though of course you can put in as many Vonage devices as you like (assuming you have the Internet bandwidth to handle it).

So, you could put in a Vonage router that has two phone lines, and can take four more Vonage PAP2 devices that can each support two more phone lines. Wink

But at that point, I think I'd be getting a more robust router than the ones Vonage supplies, and putting a bunch of simpler Vonage adapters behind it, if I were you.

Thank everyone for the replyes... I research and there is not a Vonage 4 phone port router, but that is fine I will get another router, and yes I have enough bandwith at the office to have this configuration, I dedicated one internet connection just for Vonage and I have noather one for regular usage.

I will try and I'll let you know how it goes.. thanks
