Please don't post your account number online in a forum like this. That is never a good idea.
I'm glad you didn't write to Vonage.
Keep calling. Re-send what they ask for. (assuming you have copies.) Persistence will pay off. |

If you feel you are not going anywhere, I would first suggest you get in touch with a consumer advocate such as Ed Foster, the Gripleline editor for InfoWorld. You can reach his website at http://www.gripe2ed.com/ |

I had a rebate ($50) from BF that never got in. Web-rebates had me faxed the info in Jan, but to wait 4 weeks to get it processed. So I did in end of Feb. Still nothing. At one point I was told the offer might have been closed.
Ended up contacting the BBB. I went after the rebate clearing house, not Vonage. They sent two letters, and finally they replied and approved and mailed the rebate in a week (haven't seen it yet, but the web site shoes it as sent).
The Vonage rebates are being handled by web-rebates. They are NOTORIOUS for loosing rebates, or bad data entry (mis spellings, wrong address, etc.)

This is true of just about every rebate that is out there. Still, somebody from Vonage should have been able to step in, contact the rebate company and find out what is going on. |

I have stopped referring my friends. In the 4 years I have been with Vonage, I gave them 5 successful referrals. They paid me for 2 and stiffed me on the other 3. Their claim was that 2 of those didn't use the right link when they signed up, and the other had bought the router in a retail store, which "didn't qualify." So don't waste your time if you expect to get paid.
In light of their current financial situation, I think the odds of getting paid have gone from slim to none. |

bottom line is for us to take advantage of the "refer-a-friend" credits, our referals should sign up using only that refer-a-friend link sent to their email. thats just one of the qualifier plus referals need to retain service for a certain period of time |
