Starting about a week ago, I've noticed that *123 takes 15 to 25 seconds to elicit the automated voice (that says "please enter the passcode..."). Before, this would usually take 1 to 3 seconds. Other features such as voice quality, etc are fine as before. Anyone else having this issue? I'm on Verizon FIOS in Chester County (East Brandywine twp) - western suburb of Philly.
Thanks. |

I'm having the issue that when someone calls, they are not put into voicemail . . . maybe if they waited a long enough time?
Lots of Vonage issues lately! |

Same here....all else seems to work fine! Last time this happened it preceeded a massive outage...keeping my fingers crossed.
Having your voice mails emailed and setting a "simul-ring" on my mobile is my insurance policy. |

I may have to do simulring with the cell phone. The big issue right now for me is that when someone calls, they get four rings, about 10-20 seconds of dead silence, and then voicemail. Most people won't wait the 10-20 seconds of dead silence until they reach voicemail -- rather, they assume something's wrong (which it is), and hang up right away. |

I just called Vonage support about this, and after the tech changed some jitter settings (which messed up my audio quality) he set them back the way they were, and passed the ticket on to engineering. Now, 20 minutes later, it appears to be fixed. Check it out. |
