Phone adapter has the Power light and Network light on...but no Phone Jack light..
I'm trying to get thru to Vonage Support for a status..on hold for 15 min... ..

I'm a very dissatisfied client of Vonage. Today it is not the first time I lost my connection with Vonage (in Gatineau, QC). My Internet (with Videotron) is working perfectly well. When I try to access my account the system is also down. What's happening? Running a (VOIP) telephone company is serious business, is Vonage taking it seriously? People's lives depend on having access to communication... I guess that we can exercise our right to request Vonage to explain (publicly) what's happening with their services. |

I've been very pleased with the service this is the first outage I have experienced since my install back in Dec 2006...
I;m a bit concerned about the Verizon patent case though and what will become of Vonage..
You're right the Voip is a critical service... ..but Vonage is not the sinngle point of failure.. the ISP is also a critical link to the service... no internet connection...no phone... |

Got through after 30 minutes on hold... It's a Vonage Network issue.
Web control panel is out too.
Vonage should e-mail their customers when there is an outage...
Do we get a service credit? |

Here is the Service bulletin on the Vonage Dashboard:
At this time some customers may be experiencing difficulty receiving a dial tone or placing outbound calls. Our engineers are aware of this issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause |

Just got my dialtone back ... but I still can't log into the web panel.
I hope my line is not going to be flakey much longer. |

Mine never went out here in Ontario. People in the states were complaining the last couple of days about service, but I haven't lost service yet.
You won't get a credit for your phone being out, do you get it when your cable goes off or your power? |

Ya, Rogers does give service credits if you call them.
As for Power - that's different. Residential users pay for usage not availability. When power is out, your consumption is 0w, and therefore $0.00 |
