The reason I asked is because one of your manuals refers to itself as a HandyTone 486 (a grandstream product)

We use similar manuals as Grandstream and sometimes errors are made in referencing models.

Getting back to using Vonage service on a vanaccess device without voxalot.
Am I correct that you need a Vonage SoftPhone number to use with vanaccess? Since it's a feature, you still need a "base" account (with it's associated adapter hardware) to get a SoftPhone number.
If so, then you have another $10/month (for the softphone) to figure into your cost-savings calculations.
The "documentation" you reference for the GW0224 doesn't talk about multiple SIP accounts. And in some places it indicates that both analog ports are FXS. Is there some way to configure one as an FXO port for connction to the PSTN?
Even if it allows a SIP account for each analog port, you still can't do what the original poster claims - have it route out thru the pstn and/or multiple SIP accounts based on a dialing plan. With the pstn connected you'd only have one SIP account available (and it couldn't be a Vonage base account).
