Please excuse me if this is a dup post as I did a search and found nothing on my problem.
I've been using Vonage for around 5 months now and I've never experienced any problems until now. When I pick up my phone to make a call a guys says "This telephone line cannot register to the Vonage network". Also the power light on my Motorola VT2442 is blinking a constant red. I've soft rebooted, hard rebooted, reset from in the router, I've unplugged the router for over 5 minutes, reset my modem, powered everything down.
I'm at a loss.
1. Has anyone ever experienced this problem?
2. What did you do to remedy the problem?
3. What cause's this problem, is it on the Vonage side or mine?

I have had that problem before, but it was due to my internet connection being off line. But if it is just your Vonage adapter that is flashing make sure you unplug all equipment and reboot one at a time and make sure each one comes online before plugging the next one in. Make sure you boot cable/dsl modem first, router (if applicable) 2nd and the Vonage adapter 3rd, don't try the phone until the phone light is lit up. |

try to do a hard reset, ,,press the small red dot at the back of the vonage box.. |
