Post subject: Passing DTMF tones
Hi, I'm a relatively new
Vonage
subscriber. So far so good but I do have one problem and was wondering if anyone else has experienced it. I have the Motorola ATA. I participate in a lot of teleconferences which require me to enter a participants code after I make my telephone connection. What I find is my DTMF tones aren't passed once the connection is made. I contacted
Vonage
tech support and they tried changing some setting but that didn't change things. Now they are sending me the Linksys ATA w/the hopes that will work.
Does anyone have comments or suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

Comments -- You are not alone in experiencing this. It cleared itself up for me (using the VT1005) after a firmware upgrade.
Suggestions: Contact
Vonage
and get the new Linksys adapter (ooopps! you've already done that).
Seriously... it sounds like you are doing everything right. I've seen a few posts on this but nobody has ever come up with a magic bullet.
