Service stopped about an hour ago. Is this a wide spread outage? |

apparently by the lack of a service announcement it either is just beginning or it's a localized situation. I would reboot everything including your modem and see if that improves anything. Then if it doesn't solve anything, then I'd give vonage a call or send them an email from within the forum (it's on the vonage forum menu - vonage information - contact support) |

I just checked the site and saw this...
Service Announcements
Some customers may be experiencing an issue with no dial tone. Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter.
I'm in GA and lost my dial tone about an hour ago |

I did the reboot process as soon as the problem began, no change. I have a great internet connection, everything is working except my two Vonage routers. I tried the phone call but tired of sitting on hold since I had to call them on my cell. I have a feeling this is on Vonage's end and the tech support call would be a waste of time. I'm hoping it gets straightened out soon. |

My partner said that our Vonage Service has no dial tone, when you pick up the phone it says that the vonage device cannot register.
I am in Cheshire, UK. |

"This telephone line cannot register to the vonage network" ...I noticed the problem in Texas about 30 minutes ago when I got a call forwarded to my mobile that did not ring on my desk (I have simul-ring enabled so cannot tell if the sytem down forwarding is working or not - it did not the last time they went down completely)... |

Maybe while the "engineers are working to resolve" it, they could flip the switch to give us ACR! |

My second line stopped working about 1 hour ago. Waited on customer care line for 30 minutes... Phone rang & then went dead.
Called back and walked through the prompts again. Then it said, sorry we have no one available to help you and hung up on me.
I've rebooted the Linksys PAP v2 adapter. Still just the one line working.
636 area code # failed. 573 area code # working. |
