You could but note the address on your web account is the same address that 911 would be having in their database as well. So that is something you need to consider as well.

That is true for many users, but for me
Vonage
will never be used for 911. I live abroad most of the time....

I am on the Step-Up plan ($19.99) and live in Indiana. Here is the break down of my costs:
Unlimited 12 Months Step Up Plan $19.99
Regulatory Recovery Fee $0.99
Emergency 911 Cost Recovery $0.99
Sales Tax $1.32
Federal Universal Service Fee $1.19
County 911 Fee $0.50
Total Amount $24.98

Thanks. Is the 12-month step up plan paid once a year (the entire amount) or once a month. I called
Vonage
but they told me that I need to pay the full year in advance.

I got the monthly rate ($19.99) by threatening to cancel. I told them I was considering going with another provider and was wondering if they could work with me and give me a lower rate to keep me. Nothing was ever mentioned about paying for 1yr in advance. Something to keep in mind.
