Softphone or Vphone and dialing from browser or app?

Ok guys trying a different forum although the guys are being very helpful in the forum on Click to call. I am trying to add in a very useful software program into our business app that will allow us to click to call without having to pick up the phone to initiate the call but I want to use Vonage as we have vonage accts.
Purpose}
to be able to use our accout via laptops etc...
So all the guys can check emails in one app even with diff vonage numbers:
Be able to click out of our app and it dial the phone number (similiar to skype) WITHOUT having to pickup the phone like the click to call software makes you do now. Any help would be appreciate. We would be glad to program some of this if there is any guys interested. Thanks, Tim

Softphone works fine with any headset or handset that I have tried. With a headset, you won't need to lift the phone.

Vonage doesn't do email If you want voicemail on one account, forward all the calls to a single number and its voicemail box using ring features. Not recommended because the office idiot can delete everyone's business. Moreover, it will get very confusing in a busy office (for instance) with multiple phones ringing on a single call.

Using Vonage on a computer requires Softphone. You will get a new softphone number with all the features of your main Vonage account. You cannot use your main account with software.

Vonage is a bit short on softphone software. I can't get XTen to dial from my phone book, but it may be possible that I just haven't configured mine correctly.

Click to Call may be your best bet. I don't use it and can't advise.
