From previous discussions, it seems the fax line can be used as a voice line, but wasn't sure if it was possible the other way around. I know you have to pay an add'l $9.99 a month to set up a fax line in addition to your existing voice line. But is it possible to just connect my fax machine to my existing voice line and send and receive faxes when I need to? I'm not going to be faxing that often and that would obviously save me the extra cost.
Any help would be great!

yes, you can use your voice line as a fax line. just make sure that your codec is set to the highest settings. |

Well if you want to just spend $9.99 a month with the ability to call then I would recommend Basic 100 plan.
Basic 0 plan is $9.99 a month you have 100mins of outgoing call. You could use it depending on what your purpose would be whether you wanna use it up for voice calls or to send fax. Its up to you although if you spend $9.99 on just 100mins why don't you have the Basic 500 instead, at least even though it's $14.99 a month you get 500mins free for outgoing calls. I think that would save you a lot and you won't be very conscious of the time used up in calling just to save something for sending fax.
By the way, you can't have a fax line without a main line. Fax line is just an additional line/feature.
Or keep your Unlimited plan and just use that one for faxing as well then you dont have to keep track of the minutes you use.

log into your web account, go to features, look for your bandwidth saver settings, click on configure, make sure that the bandwidth saver is set to the highest which is 90. then save. |
